A busy week for Mr William D Drake – tomorrow (9th March) he’s performing at the celebrations for the release of Mr Stephen EvEns first album ‘Bonjour Poulet’ at The Windmill, Brixton. … Then jumping into the car for shows in Preston on Saturday 11th and Gateshead on Sunday 12th (also featuring Stephen EvEns).
These are intimate solo shows, Mr Drake will be singing a rousing selection of tunes from the William D Drake/Sea Nymphs repertoire – you are invited to gather around the piano for a jolly sing-a-long to a few of the old favourites.
During some rummaging and tidying in Mr Drake’s stock cupboard, we discovered a couple of boxes of rare CD’s – the first album William D Drake and the single Melancholy World, plus the vinyl 7″ Earthy Shrine. These treasures can be purchased from the William D Drake Bandcamp shop in the Flummery & Whatnots section.
